Parents/Guardians: PLEASE note that each age group/team typically uses a text notification for announcements of games, training, cancellations etc. The committee reminds all that it is a minimum courtesy to reply, especially for game-day texts as coaches like to know who is available for selection prior to meeting in the car park on game day (fines may be incurred by the club for not playing a scheduled fixture). If a Tel no# is changed, it is the it is the responsibility of the parent to tell the coach/committee. The main mobile number given at registration is usually the one used for such texts. It is club policy/child protection best practise guidelines, all such team texts will only be sent to parents only, even for our u18 youth team.

Lough Derg FC & North Tipperary Schoolboy League & North Tipperary & District League:

Sept 2011 saw teams entered into NTSFL divisional league play at u10, u11, u12, u13, u14 and u15 while continuing expansion of the club has seen a youth u18 team entered for the first time into the NT&DL.
In 2009/10 season we had 10 league registered teams at 4 x u10, 2 x u11, 1 x u12, 2 x u13 and 1 x u16, with nearly 170 league registered players and 28 coaches, while last season saw 11 teams entered into the NTSFL. Typically all league clubs have to register with fees dues and birth certs in the 1st week of September to ensure full compliance and registration prior to first match day.
As well as various league divisions for u10, u11, u12, u13, u14, u15 & u16, NTSFL also runs Knockout cup competitions (usually after Xmas and ''girls only'' divisions have been started to encourage more participation. Member clubs can also participate in SFAI National cups.
LDFC participates in North Tipperary League quarterly delegate meetings and the yearly AGM. For further news of our participation in NTSFL and FAI Emerging talent programmes please see ''Academy'' page of this website.
FAI Summer Camp:

The FAI have run their annual summer camp at St Anne's Community College, Killaloe over the past number of years. Members and non members can take part in the week long activities (usually last week of July). Booking and payment is done directly with the FAI (see www.fai.ie for further information).
St Patricks Day Parade:

Since the clubs foundation players, coaches and committee members have marched and taken part each year in the Killaloe/Ballina parade.
Community games & Schools soccer (club outreach):

For the past number of years, different club coaches have assisted with Ballina-Bothar community games soccer and the FAI primary schools soccer county competitions by helping staff in Ballina and Bothar primary schools.
