Well done to L Derg lads

Special mention this week about local Lough Derg schoolboy soccer club members; Phelim O'Hagan, Thomas Conway, Jack Brady, Conor Maguire and Shane Moloney on their being chosen for the North Tippeary u13 Schoolboy Soccer squad who took part in the recent SFAI Umbro Kennedy Cup U13 soccer tournament at the University of Limerick.

The North Tippeary team were managed by long-serving Lough Derg FC coach Enda Brady.

For Lough Derg FC who were founded in 2002 to have 5 players chosen on the squad of 20 is testament to the great strides that the club has made over the past few years.
